I Increased My Leads by 294%! Here’s How I Did It

When I compared January 2024 to January 2025, I saw something wild.

Our leads increased by 294%.

Our conversions? Up by 85%.

In this post , I’m going to break down exactly how I made that happen—so you can try these strategies for your own practice.

  • I’ll share the mindset shift that helped me go from reactive to intentional.

  • I’ll walk you through the exact strategies I used—no fluff, no gatekeeping.

Simple Definitions

Before we dive in, here’s what I mean when I use these terms:

  • A lead is anyone who contacts your practice.

  • A conversion is someone who becomes an active client.

The Mindset Shift

In January 2024, I still believed there wasn’t much I could do to significantly improve our marketing. Real marketing—like Google Ads, SEO, and funnels—felt out of reach for someone like me. I figured I could dabble, but I didn’t expect much.

To be honest, I was also skeptical that tracking leads or building a pipeline would even be worth it. So we mostly stuck to directories and hoped for the best.

I’d toss out an occasional ad here or there, but nothing really clicked.

Eventually, I got tired of hoping and decided to actually learn how marketing works. The first step? I started tracking every lead—where they came from, when they contacted us, and what happened next.

That one shift gave me insight I never had before. I could see that we were pretty good at converting leads... but not great at bringing in new ones.

That realization sparked a new mission: get better at lead generation. For the first time, it felt doable.

The Strategies

Once I shifted my mindset, I put a system in place to generate high-quality leads and follow up with them effectively. There were four main pieces to the puzzle:

1. Google Ads

I didn’t outsource this. I went all-in on learning it myself. I took the time to understand the platform, went through a certification course, and asked tons of questions.

Eventually, I launched my own ads—and they worked. We saw a noticeable increase in both leads and conversions.

2. Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)

I was hesitant to try these, but the low cost and large reach convinced me to give it a shot. I threw together a quick ad… and to my surprise, it pulled in a lot of leads.

Most didn’t convert right away, but I noticed more conversions in the following months. My guess is that it helped boost brand awareness.

3. CRM Software

At the same time, I set up a CRM that automatically captured every new lead and dropped them into a pipeline.

From there, I could follow up right away—by phone, email, or text—all from one place. No leads slipped through the cracks.

I am also pleased to offer access to the CRM. If you want to try it free for 30 days click this link here

4. A Strong Landing Page

All of those ads needed somewhere to go. I researched what landing pages were and what exactly needed to be on them. For the first time I realized that a landing page was crucial and there was a formula to it 🤯. I spent time building a landing page that was clean, clear, and conversion-focused. It wasn’t just pretty—it was purposeful.

For the first time, potential clients told me that the site “really resonated with them.” That was new!

How You Can Get Started

You don’t need to implement everything at once. But if you’re ready to stop guessing and start growing, begin here:

  • Choose one lead generation method to learn and try (Google Ads is a solid starting point).

  • Get a HIPAA Compliant CRM so you can track and follow up consistently.

  • Build a simple, effective landing page that speaks to your ideal client.

Even a small change—like tracking where your leads come from—can unlock new insight and momentum. That’s what did it for me.

It’s not about doing everything perfectly. It’s about starting somewhere—and building from there.
